1) Physical installation:
Climate sensor must be installed indoor, in the cabin or wheelhouse. It should not be placed in direct sunlight or next to air vents, air conditioning or heating plenums. It must be installed to be accessible to change the battery.
Install the sensor in a location that allows easy access to the battery compartment for future maintenance or replacement.
Ensure that the door sensor remains within Bluetooth range of the Boat Monitor installed on the boat. The effective range is approximately 5 meters, with minimal obstructions between the two devices to maintain strong signal strength.
2) Pairing the sensor with the Boat Monitor in the mobile app
1) Click "Details"
2) Click "Paired bluetooth devices"
3) Click + (top right corner) and scan QR code on the back side of the sensor.
4) Choose one of the Humidity profiles that suits you
5) Wait for pairing operation to finish. Once completed, you should be able to see Door sensors in your Sensors tab in the app.
