In case of connectivity issues (most often after SIM activation), the device cannot register onto the local network.

This is indicated through a red LED lamp. A device restart is required to restart the registration procedure.


The user can restart the device by briefly pushing the reset button as follows: 


Step 1) 

Remove the rubber cover on the top of BM50, which is located above the LED lamp, as shown with the red arrow in picture.


Step 2)

Press the reset button briefly (short push, less than 1s). Reset button is placed diagonally behind the left edge of the hole (marked with green color in the picture below). Push it gently with a thin object. You can use the rubber cover or a small screwdriver. 

Release the button after the device led turns blue. The LED will start changing colors until it turns red which is normal. Then it should take a few minutes until it registers on the network. Green light indicates normal operation.


Step 3)

Reinstall the rubber cover. If device doesn't come online within 15 minutes, please contact sentinel support at:
