The ownership transfer tool enables you to seamlessly transfer your boat to another person (user). This feature comes in handy not only when you are selling or buying a boat, but also when a third party installer sets up the Sentinel’s device for you.


During the procedure you can decide whether to keep the historic data on your account or transfer the complete history to the new user. Once the transfer is complete, you will stop receiving new data from the boat. 
Here’s how to do it from the web:

1) Login to our web app with the same credentials that you use in mobile app: https://web.sentinelmarine.net/login


2) On the left side, select your boat and press "Settings" as shown in picture below:


3) Enter the email address of the new owner. Instructions on how to access their new boat’s data will be emailed to them directly. Select if you want to transfer history with all the past routes and alarms included or keep it yourself.


  • Wait until the recipient confirms and accepts the transfer.
  • Once the recipient confirms you will be notified and the data will be transferred right away.
