My ship is going into winter storage. Can the system continue to work without being connected to the battery of the boat? What happens when the Sentinel internal battery runs out of power? Print

When the boat battery is disconnected, Sentinel will run approx 12 hrs on internal battery. After that the device will shut off and wait for the external power to be restored.

If Sentinel monitoring operation is desired throughout the winter, the device should stay connected and the main battery should be recharged 2 or 3 times (depends on battery health and capacity) during the winter.

A notifications is sent through Sentinel app whenever the boat battery needs a recharge.
