Default blinking period for both, Status and Track LEDs is 3s. Different number of blinks within this 3s period defines different states:
Status LED:

| 1 | Normal operation | Everything OK. Connection established, system IDLE |
| 2 | Data communication not possible | No mobile coverage or weak signal, SIM card inactive or error, roaming in country not covered by your license |
| 3 | Supply disconnected | Too low supply voltage or no supply voltage. Device running from internal battery (system will work for approx 16 hrs and then shut down) |

Track LED:

| 1 | Normal operation | GPS reception OK, tracking position |

When the device is in sleep mode, status led blinks briefly (<1ms) every 20 seconds.
